About the role
We are looking for a Mobile Caretaker to join a small team responsible for maintaining the communal areas of council housing in Woodford Green. The role is full‑time on a temporary basis, working Monday‑Thursday 8 am‑4 pm and Friday 8 am‑4 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Clean internal and external communal spaces, including corridors, stairwells and shared facilities.
- Sweep, mop, dust and pick up litter in residential areas and service roads.
- Collect and dispose of bulk waste and maintain cleanliness of car parks.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to council standards.
Required profile
- Full clean UK manual driving licence.
- Ability to attend a short introduction and trial day wearing steel‑toe capped boots and suitable workwear.
- Availability to work the specified hours with scheduled tea and lunch breaks.
- Commitment to a temporary full‑time contract.
