Mobile Domestic & Lifestyle Assistant

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Mobile Domestic & Lifestyle Assistants to support older adults living in our purpose‑built developments. Working on a flexible rota, you will travel between sites in Hexham and surrounding areas, providing a blend of domestic, social and wellbeing support to homeowners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain communal areas to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
• Provide domestic support such as cleaning, laundry, shopping and household task assistance.
• Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements and attendance at appointments.
• Offer personalised support for daily living tasks, including personal hygiene and medication assistance where required.

Required profile

• Compassionate, proactive and eager to improve quality of life for older adults.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and effective time‑management.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, alternate weekends and occasional bank holidays.
• Valid full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £12.85 plus mileage reimbursement at 43p per mile.
• Travel expenses fully covered and on‑site parking.
