Mobile Electrical Engineer – Commercial & Industrial

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management contractor. The role involves travelling across commercial and industrial sites in the West Midlands and beyond, delivering installations, testing, maintenance and fault‑finding services.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations and small works on commercial and industrial projects.
• Perform electrical testing, inspection and verification in line with the 18th Edition.
• Diagnose faults and provide reactive maintenance.
• Undertake structured cabling installations (where required).
• Participate in an on‑call rota and occasional overnight stays.
• Collaborate with clients to understand and meet their electrical needs.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or a completed apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition (BS7671:2018) testing qualification.
• JIB Gold Card (or graded Electrician).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven experience in commercial and industrial environments.
• Self‑motivated with strong organisational abilities.
