Mobile Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to deliver reactive repairs, maintenance and minor project work across London and surrounding postcodes. The role is field‑based, requiring a strong focus on health and safety, customer service and accurate record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive repairs, planned maintenance and minor project installations on domestic, industrial and commercial sites across London, BN, RH and TN postcodes.
• Ensure compliance with health‑and‑safety policies, risk assessments, method statements and client‑specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and recommendations for further action.
• Adhere to service‑level agreements for attendance and completion deadlines, including out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
• Undertake additional multi‑skilled tasks and minor new works as required.

Required profile

• Approved City & Guilds Electrician or equivalent Building Services qualification.
• Qualified to the 18th Edition IEE regulations.
• Good organisational skills, positive outlook and strong communication with customers.
• Ability to use a PDA to access the company CAFM system and email.

Required skills

• City & Guilds Electrician qualification.
• 18th Edition IEE regulations knowledge.
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection (desirable).
• Gold CSCS Card holder (desirable).
• PDA operation for CAFM system.
