Mobile Engineer (iOS)

About the role

The Mobile Engineer (iOS) will design, develop and maintain native iOS applications that provide exceptional user experiences for Blue Light Card members. Working within a newly formed cross‑functional product team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers and fellow mobile developers to deliver innovative mobile solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality native iOS applications using modern iOS development practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• Develop and maintain unit and UI tests, ensuring software quality through automated testing frameworks.
• Participate in peer code reviews, technical discussions and contribute to design and architectural decisions.
• Integrate mobile applications with cloud‑native services and support server‑driven UI implementations on AWS.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, validate releases and assist with continuous deployment processes.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Share knowledge within the Mobile Community of Practice and mentor junior developers.
