About the role
Join the Estates Service Team to help maintain safe and welcoming environments for residents. You will be responsible for the external areas of multiple flat blocks, ensuring they are kept to a high standard. The role involves independent work after training and occasional collaboration on projects and community events.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain external areas of flat blocks, including open spaces, bin stores, drying and parking areas.
- Organise waste removal and report bulk waste issues.
- Oversee minor repairs and ensure cleanliness of owned land.
- Work autonomously after full training, with support from a line manager.
- Assist other teams and participate in community open‑day activities when required.
Required profile
- Customer‑focused with empathetic communication skills.
- Understanding of health and safety matters on estates.
- Ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
- Full, current driving licence.
- Maintain a satisfactory basic DBS check.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including email.
- Confident use of a mobile phone and related applications.
- Ability to drive work vehicles of various makes and sizes.
- Problem‑solving skills on estate matters.
- Collaborative work with internal and external stakeholders.
