Mobile Fleet Technician

About the role

Join a dynamic team delivering on‑site technical support to a wide range of commercial vehicles across Kent. As a Mobile Fleet Technician you will travel to customer sites, performing maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on HGVs, refuse collection vehicles, tankers and more.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to call‑outs, emergency breakdowns and scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Carry out pre‑arranged servicing at rural sites, including MOT preparation.
• Perform engine diagnostics, repair work and correction of running defects.
• Undertake chassis and fabrication tasks, as well as hydraulics and pneumatic repairs.
• Inspect and correct electrical wiring and improve overall vehicle standards.
• Maintain a fully equipped van and travel safely within the designated area.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or apprenticeship‑accredited.
• Reliable, punctual and proactive with a strong health‑and‑safety mindset.
• Problem‑solver with a can‑do attitude.
• A Class 2 licence is beneficial.
