Mobile Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established building services company serving commercial sites across Crawley and the South Coast. The role offers a local patch, excellent work‑life balance and clear progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial sites.
• Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical and electrical building services.
• Maintain HVAC equipment, including AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, pumps, and motors.
• Perform basic plumbing works such as TMV maintenance, tap replacements, and pipework repairs.
• Complete emergency lighting and fire alarm checks.
• Carry out basic water hygiene and L8 compliance tasks where required.
• Undertake general building fabric maintenance.
• Produce maintenance reports and ensure all work is performed safely and to a high standard.

Required profile

• City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or Air Conditioning.
• Previous experience in commercial building services maintenance.
• Good fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer‑facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Salary £43,000 – £45,000 per annum
