Mobile Optometrist – Flexible Part‑Time Role

About the role

Join Vision Express as a Mobile Optometrist and support a cluster of stores across Surrey and surrounding areas. Working three days a week (with the possibility of full‑time), you will travel to different locations, delivering high‑quality eye care while enjoying the stability and resources of a leading retailer.

Key responsibilities

• Visit multiple stores (Epsom, Crawley, Sutton, Gatwick) to provide optometry services.
• Perform eye examinations, diagnose conditions and recommend appropriate lenses or treatments.
• Collaborate with store teams to ensure seamless patient experiences.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow GOC standards.
• Manage travel schedule to minimise unnecessary mileage.

Required profile

• Qualified, GOC‑registered optometrist.
• Strong clinical expertise with a focus on patient confidence.
• Ability to work independently while supporting store teams.
• Commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

• Salary up to £75,000 per year (experience‑dependent).
