Mobile Search Director – App Acquisition Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Search Director to own and grow mobile app acquisition for a leading consumer technology and entertainment brand. Based in London with a hybrid working model, you will drive strategy, execution and optimisation of Mobile App Install (MAI) campaigns across multiple international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the MAI strategy across Search, Social and Display channels.
• Manage app acquisition on platforms such as Google App Campaigns, Apple Search Ads, Meta and other performance networks.
• Oversee mobile tracking and attribution, collaborating with leading Mobile Measurement Partners.
• Provide senior strategic guidance to clients, translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Lead and mentor a high‑performing team across the UK and global markets.
• Work with cross‑functional teams (Search, Social, Display, Data, Technology, Analytics) to deliver integrated performance solutions.
• Identify automation, innovation and emerging platform opportunities to boost campaign effectiveness.

Required profile

• Strong background in performance marketing with a focus on Mobile App Install campaigns.
• Deep expertise in app acquisition strategy for Search channels (Google App Campaigns, Apple Search Ads).
• Experience with mobile attribution platforms such as Kochava, AppsFlyer or Adjust.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Comfortable presenting insights to senior clients and shaping strategic direction.
