Mobile Supervisor

About the role

The Mobile Supervisor will manage and support a multidisciplinary team of engineers, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations and high‑quality service delivery. Working closely with the Contract Manager and Contract Support teams, the role acts as a key liaison to maintain excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and assistance to engineers on both reactive and planned maintenance work.
• Monitor and achieve SLA and KPI targets for engineering contracts.
• Maintain statutory PPMs and ensure timely completion of all activities.
• Collaborate with the Helpdesk team on labour resources and technical queries, attending the office at least one day per week.
• Conduct HR processes such as informal and formal discussions, investigations, and operational inductions.
• Perform engineer audits covering PPE, vehicles, tools, ladders and lead Toolbox Talks.
• Oversee health and safety compliance from planning through to completion, including RA&MS and COSHH.
• Prepare quotations, supervise quoted and reactive works, and manage subcontractors.
• Maintain site log books, safety documentation, and provide on‑call rota cover as required.

Required profile

• Experience training and supervising engineers in a building services environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• City & Guilds technical qualifications in combustion, electrical, HVAC or mechanical disciplines.

Required skills

• Intermediate IT skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Technical knowledge of combustion systems.
• Electrical systems expertise.
• HVAC system competence.
• Mechanical engineering fundamentals.
