Mobile Training Engineer – South West

About the role

Join the Training department as a Mobile Training Engineer covering the South West region. You will deliver high‑quality technical training on combustion products, heat pumps and renewable energy systems to both customers and internal staff, supporting the company’s low‑carbon heating strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site training on combustion products using a mobile training van, partner centres and Worcester Bosch locations.
• Deliver heat‑pump training to help grow market share of renewable technologies.
• Train customers and employees on gas, oil and renewable products at various locations across the UK and Ireland.
• Develop and maintain relationships with colleges and partner centres.
• Support the sales force with product launches, exhibitions and factory tours.
• Prepare course content, materials and maintain the mobile training van.
• Design new courses covering product updates and legislation.
• Participate in train‑the‑trainer projects for new products and services.

Required profile

• ACS CCN1 & CEN1 qualification and NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and heating (or equivalent experience).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong technical knowledge of low‑temperature heating systems, installations and commissioning procedures.
• Trade‑related background with experience delivering technical training.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills, able to communicate with learners at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
• Knowledge of low‑temperature heating and renewable energy technologies.
• Experience with installation and commissioning procedures for heating systems.
