Mobile Vehicle Technician

About the role

Join a globally recognised roadside assistance provider as a Mobile Vehicle Technician, covering Hatfield and surrounding areas. You will work independently from a fully equipped service van, delivering fast, professional repairs directly at the roadside.

Key responsibilities

• Attend breakdown calls dispatched by the Operations Centre.
• Diagnose vehicle faults and perform repairs on‑site.
• Achieve high first‑time fix rates using provided tools and training.
• Communicate outcomes and next steps back to the Operations Centre.
• Maintain the service vehicle, tools and stock to a high standard.
• Complete all required documentation, warranty and goodwill procedures accurately.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong diagnostic ability with a logical approach to fault finding.
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Full UK Category B driving licence (maximum 6 points).
