Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (French & German) – Cyprus

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with a reputable secondary school in Cyprus to recruit a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher. The successful candidate will join the school in September 2026 on a temporary, one‑term contract, with the possibility of extension. You will deliver French and German across Key Stages 3‑5, preparing students for GCSE/IGCSE and A‑Level examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Teach French up to Key Stage 5 and German up to Key Stage 5.
• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons aligned with the British‑style curriculum.
• Prepare students for external examinations, including GCSE/IGCSE and A‑Level.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching French and German in a secondary setting.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability.
• Full driving licence and confidence in driving, due to the school’s location.
