Mortgage Administrator – Residential & BTL

About the role

Join a multi‑award‑winning wealth management practice as a Mortgage Administrator, supporting residential and buy‑to‑let mortgage cases for high‑net‑worth clients. The role is based in a prime Central London office with a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Enter mortgage applications and submit required documentation to lenders.
• Create tasks, records and reminders in the CRM system.
• Scan and attach all client documents before and after offers.
• Prepare invoices, add fee figures and maintain management information on spreadsheets.
• Send re‑brokerage letters and ensure post‑completion file compliance.
• Chase lenders for updates and communicate progress to advisers and clients.
• Maintain accurate notes in the CRM and liaise with solicitors, lenders and advisers.
• Meet lenders' business development managers and handle product‑transfer mortgage cases.

Required profile

• Mortgage administration experience, preferably within the independent market.
• Familiarity with multiple lenders' products and online portals.
• Excellent written English and professional telephone manner.
• Strong mortgage terminology knowledge and technical ability.
• Proactive, able to manage time and prioritise cases to completion.
• Ambition to grow within a professional, client‑focused business.
