About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join a fast‑paced brokerage in Basildon. The role focuses on client‑facing sales, converting qualified leads into mortgage applications while benefiting from strong back‑office support.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with a high volume of inbound client enquiries and build rapport.
• Provide mortgage advice, submit quality applications and manage the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with the packaging and admin team to ensure smooth case progression.
• Meet clear performance targets and contribute to the brokerage’s growth.

Required profile

• CeMAP qualification.
• Minimum 18 months of mortgage advising experience.
• Proven ability to work in a high‑volume, sales‑driven environment.
• Desirable experience with self‑employed clients and protection sales.

Required skills

• Mortgage advisory expertise.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products and lending criteria.
