Mortgage Advisor

About the role

We are partnering with an international bank in the City of London to hire a Mortgage Advisor on a permanent basis. You will provide bespoke mortgage solutions to affluent and high‑net‑worth clients, many of whom are based in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored mortgage advice to high‑net‑worth clients.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, introducers and industry professionals to generate new business.
• Manage the full mortgage lifecycle, from onboarding and credit applications to compliance checks.
• Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with private banking, credit risk and operations teams for efficient delivery.
• Monitor market trends, product developments and competitor activity.
• Grow the mortgage portfolio through new business, cross‑selling and client engagement.
• Maintain the mortgage pipeline and meet sales and service targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience providing regulated and non‑regulated mortgage advice, preferably to high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong knowledge of residential and buy‑to‑let mortgages.
• CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) – CAS status is desirable.
• Degree‑educated or equivalent experience in banking or financial services.
• High attention to detail, risk awareness and a commitment to regulatory compliance.
