Mortgage and Protection Administrator

About the role

Join an award‑winning independent mortgage and protection brokerage based in South West London. You will handle residential and buy‑to‑let mortgage cases, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am‑5:00 pm, in a friendly and productive team environment with clear pathways for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with Mortgage and Protection Advisors, lenders, protection providers, solicitors and clients to move cases from application to completion.
• Provide high‑quality service to clients throughout the mortgage and protection process.
• Maintain thorough and up‑to‑date records using industry software.
• Submit residential and BTL mortgage applications via lenders’ online portals.
• Submit insurance applications via protection providers’ online portals.
• Draft suitability letters and gather required original documents.
• Ensure all work complies with FCA standards.

Required profile

• Mortgage administration experience within the independent market, familiar with multiple lenders and their online platforms.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
