Mortgage Lending Operations – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position supports the Lending & Securities leadership team at a prestigious banking institution. You will ensure that all lending and security documentation is prepared accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue security releases, transfers, consents to lease, and guarantee renewals according to delegated authority.
• Maintain legal documentation to comply with current legislation and protect the bank’s interests.
• Handle back‑office tasks for pre‑ and post‑drawdown formalities, including regulated mortgage statements, rate change notifications, and credit searches.
• Support bank projects as required, providing expertise on lending processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Technical knowledge of lending, loan security, bespoke non‑standard security documentation, regulated mortgage contracts and the Consumer Credit Act.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end post‑approval lending processes and associated product risks.
• Experience with a variety of retail banking products; CeMap certification is an advantage.
