Mortgage Paraplanner

About the role

We are seeking a Mortgage Paraplanner to support our award‑winning independent mortgage and protection brokerage. Based in our modern South West London office, you will work primarily on residential and buy‑to‑let (BTL) mortgage cases, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mortgage and protection product research to identify the most suitable solutions for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Liaise with the Director, Mortgage & Protection Advisors, Administrators, lenders, protection providers, solicitors and clients to drive cases to completion.
• Prepare and submit residential and BTL mortgage applications using specialist sourcing software and lender portals.
• Maintain high standards of client service throughout the mortgage journey.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Paraplanner, Mortgage Administrator, or Mortgage Advisor/Broker looking to move into a more technical role.
• Strong knowledge of residential and BTL mortgage processes and associated protection products.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑17:00, with a one‑hour lunch break.
• Motivation to develop a long‑term career, potentially progressing to Team Leader or Advisor roles.
