MOT Tester – BMW & MINI Workshop

About the role

Join Hedin Automotive’s specialist BMW & MINI workshop as an MOT Tester. You will ensure that vehicles meet DVSA and manufacturer standards for safety, roadworthiness and compliance, working in a modern, fully equipped environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out MOT inspections in line with DVSA regulations.
• Diagnose, report and rectify faults on BMW and MINI vehicles.
• Perform MOT‑related repairs where required.
• Inspect brakes, suspension, exhaust systems, emissions and other critical components.
• Maintain accurate, compliant records of test results.
• Deliver technical advice and high‑quality service to customers.

Required profile

• Valid MOT Tester qualification.
• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification, ATA accreditation, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair within a dealership or independent garage.
• Strong fault‑finding abilities and attention to detail.
