MOT Tester – Full‑time position in Steventon

About the role

We are seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join our family‑run garage in Steventon, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will perform MOT examinations, support light servicing and ensure a high standard of customer care.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any faults or repairs required.
• Complete MOT documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with light vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work when required.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high workshop standards.

Required profile

• Level 2 Award in MOT Testing (essential).
• Level 3 qualification in Automotive Repair or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
