MOT Tester – Full‑Time Position in Steventon

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our family‑run garage in Steventon, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will perform MOT examinations in line with DVSA standards and support the workshop with light servicing tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with DVSA regulations.
• Inspect vehicles, identify faults and recommend necessary repairs.
• Accurately complete MOT paperwork and digital records.
• Assist with routine servicing, maintenance and minor repairs as required.
• Provide courteous customer service and maintain a clean, safe workshop environment.

Required profile

• Level 2 Award in MOT Testing (essential).
• Level 3 qualification in Automotive Repair or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
