MOT Tester – Full‑time position

About the role

Halfords is looking for a qualified MOT Tester to join its National Tyres and Autocare network in Redhill. You will work full‑time, performing MOT tests and supporting light vehicle maintenance when not testing.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with legal standards and company procedures.
• Provide accurate test results and issue certificates to customers.
• Assist the workshop team with basic vehicle maintenance tasks during downtime.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the test bay.

Required profile

• Valid MOT Testing Licence (or be a qualified mechanic/technician willing to obtain one).
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 penalty points.
• Team‑player attitude and willingness to support workshop activities.
