MOT Tester – Glasgow (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced MOT Tester to join a busy dealership in Glasgow. The role involves carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standards, ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy, with occasional light servicing and repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues.
• Accurately record MOT test results using the MOT testing system.
• Identify defects and advise on required repairs.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment correctly.
• Work efficiently to meet workshop targets.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Required profile

• Valid MOT Testing Licence (Class 4 preferred).
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience as an MOT Tester or vehicle technician.
• Strong attention to detail and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
