MOT Tester – Gloucester

About the role

Our client, a leading car dealership group in the South West, is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join their Gloucester site. You will work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays, performing MOT tests on Class 4 vehicles in line with DVSA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests on Class 4 vehicles, ensuring compliance with DVSA regulations.
• Conduct thorough inspections, identify defects and safety issues, and record findings accurately.
• Complete MOT documentation and reports promptly, maintaining the integrity of the scheme.
• Communicate test results and required repairs clearly to Service Advisors and vehicle owners.
• Maintain a clean, professional working environment that meets company and DVSA requirements.

Required profile

• Valid MOT testing licence (minimum Class 4 accreditation) with DVSA.
• Up‑to‑date annual training record and passed the latest assessment.
• Proven experience in MOT testing with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and a customer‑centric approach.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a supportive team.
