Motor Claims Administrator – Hybrid (Bolton)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Motor Claims Administrator to join our market‑leading insurance team in Bolton. Working hybrid, you will provide essential administrative and technical support to Claims Handlers, Investigators and Managers, ensuring motor claims progress smoothly from notification to settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical support to Claims Handlers, Investigators and Managers.
• Act as the first point of contact for client and customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Take ownership of customer queries and see them through to resolution.
• Support proactive management of motor claims from notification through to settlement.
• Ensure client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.
• Maintain accurate claim records using internal systems.
• Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure efficient claim progression.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at every stage of the claims process.
• Promote Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles and maintain compliance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in motor claims or insurance claims administration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new IT systems.
