Motor Claims Handler – Pre‑Litigation (up to £25k)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Motor Claims Handler to manage pre‑litigated motor claims, including personal injury, with reserves up to £25,000. You will own a caseload from inception through settlement, delivering strong commercial outcomes while providing excellent service to clients and the team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of pre‑litigated motor claims (including PI) from inception to settlement.
• Handle claims within and outside the MOJ Portal (Stages 1 & 2) under the predictive costs regime.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve favourable commercial results.
• Maintain accurate data entry and file documentation.
• Communicate clearly with clients and act as a technical referral point for colleagues.
• Mentor and support new starters and conduct file audits when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling motor personal‑injury claims under the predictive costs regime.
• Strong knowledge of the MOJ Portal (Stages 1 & 2) and pre‑litigation processes.
• Previous mentoring or coaching experience (desirable).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
