Motor Fleet Account Handler

About the role

We are seeking a Motor Fleet Account Handler to join a growing commercial insurance broker in Liverpool. The successful candidate will act as the primary contact for fleet and multi‑vehicle insurance clients, delivering tailored policy administration and proactive customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Support onboarding and ongoing management of fleet, multi‑vehicle and commercial motor insurance portfolios.
• Handle day‑to‑day client and insurer enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and timely solutions.
• Process policy amendments, mid‑term adjustments and other administrative tasks efficiently.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in CRM and policy administration systems, monitoring renewal dates and deadlines.
• Collaborate with underwriters, insurers and internal colleagues to resolve policy queries.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, insurers and key stakeholders.
• Deliver proactive service through regular client communication and account reviews.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities for additional commercial insurance products.
• Stay informed on industry developments, market trends and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial insurance, fleet insurance or a customer‑focused insurance environment.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office setting.
• Proactive, positive attitude and commitment to outstanding customer service.
