Motor Litigation Solicitor (5+ years PQE)

About the role

You will manage a varied caseload of litigated motor injury and credit hire cases within the County Court jurisdiction. The position is ideal for solicitors with 5+ years post‑qualification experience, joining Keoghs – a leading provider of legal and claims solutions to insurers and related businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Work within the Motor team as an insurance defence litigation specialist, delivering files in line with client instructions.
• Interview witnesses, draft statements, pleadings and applications.
• Instruct counsel, attend conferences, mediations and court hearings (in person or remotely).
• Maintain case management systems with up‑to‑date information for clients.
• Ensure compliance with LSNI regulations and meet performance targets.

Required profile

• Law degree and qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE.
• Experience in defence insurance litigation (desired but not essential).
• Strong telephone advocacy, excellent communication and client‑care skills.
• Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• High analytical, research and IT proficiency.
