Motor Technical Supervisor

About the role

At a high level, the aim of this role is to ensure that the work produced by the Recoveries Litigation teams is technically excellent and fully aligned with the Recoveries Quality Framework and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of FT litigated motor recovery claims.
• Supervise file handlers, maintain competency records and mentor them to develop technical expertise.
• Work with the Technical Manager to improve best practice and embed client SLAs, KPIs and quality standards.
• Identify training needs, develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing training.
• Review workflows, flag risks, emerging trends and recommend actions to improve service quality.
• Manage performance improvement plans for technical issues and ensure compliance with SRA standards.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer with full practice rights.
• Relevant experience in motor recovery claims, both defendant and claimant, with proven litigation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage own caseload and meet KPI targets.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and coaching abilities.
