Motor Trade Insurance Advisor – Commercial & Road Risk

About the role

This position is aimed at professionals already working in insurance who want to specialise in motor trade and road risk. You will act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, guiding them from initial enquiry through to policy placement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end motor trade and road risk insurance cases.
• Conduct detailed fact‑findings and risk assessments for commercial clients.
• Prepare, present and negotiate terms with insurers to secure appropriate cover.
• Support the retention and growth of a specialist motor trade insurance book.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an insurance, broking or underwriting environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, policy wording and placement processes.
• Experience in motor trade or commercial insurance is highly advantageous.

Required skills

What we offer

• Basic salary £30,000–£32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Performance‑related bonus linked to individual and team contribution.

• Standard office hours 9 am‑5 pm, Monday to Friday with no weekend work.
