Motorcycle Instructor

About the role

Phoenix Motorcycle Training Ltd is seeking a full‑time Motorcycle Instructor to join its Bristol/Bath training centre. You will deliver both practical and theory sessions for new and experienced riders, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and assess practical riding lessons.
• Deliver classroom‑based theory and evaluate learner progress.
• Maintain training motorcycles and equipment in good working order.
• Complete all required documentation and learner records.
• Ensure compliance with UK safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support learner confidence and wellbeing throughout the course.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve course content.
• Represent Phoenix Motorcycle Training professionally on and off site.

Required profile

• Strong instructional and coaching abilities with clear communication.
• Full, clean motorcycle licence held for at least three years.
• Sound knowledge of UK road rules and motorcycle training standards.
• Experience managing groups and individual learners, including lesson planning and time management.
• Commitment to health and safety, risk assessment and a positive learning environment.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends or peak periods.
• Professional attitude, reliability and willingness to engage in ongoing development.

Required skills

• Motorcycle riding proficiency
• Knowledge of UK road rules
