MRICS Commercial Property Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Chartered Commercial Property Manager (MRICS) to join their in‑house team in North West London. The role will manage a diverse portfolio of office, industrial and retail assets, optimise performance and provide expert advice across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for a portfolio of commercial properties, monitoring income, lease events and market conditions.
• Provide property and estate management advice to internal stakeholders.
• Manage tenant liaison, account enquiries and rent arrears.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance.
• Oversee lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, assignments, sub‑lettings and alterations.
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts and service charge recovery.
• Lead letting of vacant properties and minimise void periods.
• Administer refurbishment and improvement projects, coordinating with building surveyors.
• Build strong relationships with tenants, on‑site staff and internal teams.
• Support acquisitions and disposals, including opportunistic transactions.
• Negotiate easements and wayleaves where required.
• Maintain accurate property records and databases.
• Produce reports on voids, arrears, rent reviews, lease renewals, dilapidations and projects.

Required profile

• MRICS qualification (essential).
• Proven experience in commercial property management.
• Strong knowledge of landlord‑tenant matters and lease structures.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Commercially astute with a proactive, solutions‑driven approach.
• Ability to manage multiple assets and projects simultaneously.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
