Multi Site Property Maintenance Operative

About the role

MCR Property Group is seeking a motivated Multi Site Property Maintenance Operative to join its Manchester team. You will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial properties throughout the North West.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general property maintenance and repairs, including tapering, jointing and carpentry work.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs and install or replace fixtures and fittings.
• Conduct building inspections, routine maintenance and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure safe, tidy work areas.
• Collaborate with colleagues, property managers and tenants to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience in property maintenance, handyman or a similar role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence, own transport and tools.
• Willingness to travel across the North West; cladding experience is a plus.
