Multi-skilled Carpenter – Full-time, Woking

About the role

Join a large contractor in Woking as a Multi-skilled Carpenter. You will provide responsive maintenance and repair services for domestic properties, working for a respected building contractor that values high‑quality work and offers a stable, full‑time environment.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and fix mortice latch and multipoint lock sets
• Hang and line doors, including rebated frameworks
• Gain entry and make properties safe
• Carry out all aspects of kitchen installation, including mitred worktop joints and flooring

Required profile

• Trade experience in residential repairs
• Experience of kitchen installations (first and second fix)
• Experience installing fire doors
• Good knowledge of residential building regulations
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry
• Full UK driving licence
• DBS check required

• Mortice latch fitting
• Multipoint lock installation
• Door hanging and lining
• Kitchen installation and mitred worktop joint fabrication
• Flooring installation
• Use of PDA/phone for on‑site communication
