Multi-Skilled Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join our Facilities Management team. The role is based at Oaks Park High School in Newbury Park, with occasional support for Greenwich Care Homes. This is a permanent, full‑time position (40 hours per week) offering a collaborative environment where technical expertise is valued.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and compliance tasks, including Legionella testing.
• Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and building‑fabric systems.
• Perform minor installation works, refurbishments and system adjustments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all maintenance activities.
• Participate in a 1‑in‑3‑week on‑call rota to provide emergency support.

Required profile

• Solid experience in building maintenance with an electrical qualification (17th or 18th Edition).
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Comfort with digital maintenance management systems.
• Commitment to creating safe, well‑maintained environments.
