Multi Skilled Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our manufacturing site in Enfield. The role supports health, safety, hygiene and 5S standards while driving continuous improvement across mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with health, safety, hygiene and 5S standards and ensure they are maintained.
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety/maintenance work instructions.
• Maintain a high‑performance, flexible “can‑do” culture and participate in daily team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, packaging, quality and food‑hygiene regulations such as HACCP.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks, record work in the CMMS and support KPI achievement.
• Drive improvement activities, support training and adhere to documentation requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (ONC, C&G, BTEC/NVQ Level 3, degree or equivalent).
• Proven fault‑finding and maintenance experience on high‑speed production equipment.
• Positive “can‑do” attitude, strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in a blue‑chip FMCG environment (food or pharma) is desirable.
• Familiarity with SAP CMMS, steam systems, PLC‑controlled and pneumatic equipment.
