Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support all manufacturing functions on‑site. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager to deliver a plant‑wide Planned and Reactive Maintenance programme that drives higher equipment OEE.

Key responsibilities

• First‑line repair and support of production machinery.
• Maintain building fabric and services as required.
• Lead and deliver improvement projects.
• Collaborate with production teams on Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and breakdown response.
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification.
• Significant manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a multi‑discipline team.

Required skills

• Mechanical fitting skills.
• Electrical skills.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
• Basic light fabrication and welding.
• Machine‑shop skills: milling, turning and bench fitting.
