Multi Skilled Operative – Joinery & Tiling

About the role

Liberty Group is seeking a versatile Multi Skilled Operative to work on a variety of construction projects in Salford and the surrounding area. The role combines joinery, tiling and other trade skills, offering a competitive salary, company van and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Lift, relay and renew paving stones.
• Rake out and re‑point brickwork.
• Renew bituminous and liquid damp‑proof courses.
• Repair timber fencing and gates.
• Carry out patch plastering, wall and floor tiling, and minor plumbing tasks.
• Prepare and lay concrete paths, ramps and footings.
• Identify and rectify groundwork defects.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent construction trade qualification.
• Recognised qualification in bricklaying, ground work or another building trade.
• Successful completion of an apprenticeship in a relevant trade.
• Valid CSCS card at the appropriate level.
• Full UK driving licence.
