Multi Tasking Warehouse Operative

About the role

Join GXO Logistics in Middlewich for a full‑time, permanent night‑shift warehouse position. You will work on a 4‑on‑4‑off pattern, contributing to a 24/7 operation that supports a global supply‑chain brand.

Key responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, picking and putting away stock safely and efficiently using MHE equipment.
• Handling and preparing goods, including unpacking, wrapping, restacking pallets and performing quality checks.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, accuracy and attention to detail across all warehouse operations.
• Providing excellent customer service, communicating effectively and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Motivated, reliable team player with a flexible, can‑do attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow manual handling procedures.
• Willingness to work night shifts on a 4‑on‑4‑off schedule.
• Previous warehouse experience is a bonus.

Required skills

• Operating MHE equipment such as VNA, Reach, Counterbalance forklifts and PPT trucks.
• PC literate with good numeracy and working knowledge of the MS Office suite.
