Multi-Track File Handler – Litigation Claims

About the role

Keoghs LLP’s Corporate Risk Team is looking for a Multi‑Track File Handler to manage delegated and non‑delegated multi‑track EL/PL claims. You will work on a mixed caseload of litigated multi‑track claims, supporting high‑profile corporate clients throughout the litigation process.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and insurers.
• Manage a mixed EL/PL caseload, primarily multi‑track claims valued between £25k‑£100k.
• Assess liability and quantum, devise resolution strategies, and identify evidence to collect.
• Utilise the firm’s Case Management System to progress files from receipt to closure.
• Draft pleadings, including defences and witness statements.
• Attend court hearings, trials, settlement conferences and telephone conferences as required.
• Meet targets for chargeable hours, work‑in‑progress and client‑provided management information.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling EL/PL multi‑track files.
• Positive, confident and enthusiastic attitude.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and make decisions.

Required skills

• Case Management System proficiency.
