Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician to join our client’s residential property team on a temporary basis. Working across a portfolio of homes in London, you will deliver reactive repairs, planned upkeep and ensure a high standard of property condition.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, decorating and basic electrical work.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and provide clear updates with photos where required.
• Maintain tools, equipment and materials in good order.
• Identify and report additional issues or health‑and‑safety concerns.
• Represent the client professionally with residents, contractors and colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in multi‑trade or property maintenance.
• Experience working in residential properties; student accommodation experience is a plus.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Reliable, organised, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check and provide satisfactory references.
