Multi Trade Operative – Carpenter & Floorlayer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative with strong carpentry and floor‑laying abilities to join our team in Stevenage. You will provide first‑class maintenance and repair services across our property portfolio in Stevenage, Watford and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver maintenance, responsive repairs, void works and property MOTs for residential properties.
• Carry out a wide range of specialist and secondary trade tasks efficiently and to deadline.
• Travel to sites using a company‑provided van, ensuring safe and timely completion of jobs.
• Maintain high standards of customer care and workmanship on every assignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a carpenter with floor‑laying skills and ability to perform other trades.
• Valid UK driving licence (company vehicle provided).
• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence in England or Wales for the duration of employment.
• Willingness to undergo a basic criminal record check.
