Multi Trade Operative – Floorlayer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Multi‑Trade Operative specialised in floorlaying to join our permanent team serving properties across Tower Hamlets, Hackney and surrounding areas. You will work on a variety of maintenance, repair and void‑work projects, delivering a first‑class service to our housing portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out floorlaying tasks, including Cap and Cove installations.
• Perform a wide range of maintenance and responsive repairs across multiple trades.
• Complete void works and property MOT inspections within set deadlines.
• Use a company‑provided van and tools to travel between sites safely.
• Record work completed and report any issues to the site manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a floorlayer with additional trade skills.
• Valid UK driving licence (company vehicle will be provided).
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment.
