Multilingual Import Operations Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Multilingual Import Operations Executive to join a leading freight forwarding and logistics provider. The role is fully remote, allowing candidates based anywhere in the UK or EU to manage import and export activities for a B2B client portfolio. You will act as the primary liaison between customers, carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process documentation for air, road and ocean shipments across Europe.
• Maintain continuous communication with customers, carriers and suppliers throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Update the company’s shipment database accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify supplier invoices against contractual terms and price limits.
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Required profile

• Fluent English and proficiency in at least one additional European language (German, Polish, Italian or Spanish preferred).
• 2‑3 years of experience in international freight forwarding or logistics.
• Solid understanding of European import and export procedures.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of import/export documentation and compliance.
• Experience with shipment tracking and database entry.
• Ability to manage invoicing and cost control processes.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £45,000 and £55,000 per year, dependent on experience.
