Multi‑Skilled Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join our Facilities Management team at Oaks Park High School in Newbury Park, London. The role is permanent and involves ensuring the safety, functionality and comfort of school and nearby care home facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and compliance tasks, including Legionella testing.
• Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and building fabric systems.
• Perform minor installation works, refurbishments and system adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Participate in a 1‑in‑3‑week on‑call rota to provide emergency support.

Required profile

• Solid experience in building maintenance.
• Electrical qualifications to 17th or 18th Edition.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Comfort with digital maintenance management systems.
