Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Denton. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults and carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs on a range of advanced machinery, including automated assembly cells, injection moulding equipment and hydraulic presses.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive and planned maintenance on all electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
• Carry out electrical installation work for new machinery and services.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults in building services, plant, and production equipment.
• Work with PLCs and HMIs to resolve control system issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical installation (single‑phase and three‑phase).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Apprentice‑trained with an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
