Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking experienced Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineers with strong electrical or mechanical backgrounds to join our team across several West Midlands sites. You will ensure production and ancillary machinery operate at maximum efficiency in a fast‑paced, automated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Execute TPM and PPM programmes to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to a high standard.
• Perform electrical machinery audits and ensure safety compliance.
• Identify performance gaps and work with the team to implement measurable improvements.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a production maintenance setting, preferably with automotive machinery.
• Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline.
• Strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to work safely, methodically and within shift patterns.

What we offer

• 12‑month temp‑to‑perm contract (inside IR35).
• Two‑shift rotation with salary equivalent £54‑57k or three‑shift rotation with £58‑62k.
