Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer – £40‑45k + Overtime

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established packaging manufacturer in Newmarket. The role involves maintaining a wide range of production machinery and site assets, ensuring safe and efficient operation within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on production equipment.
• Perform fault finding, electrical and mechanical maintenance, fitting and assembly tasks.
• Maintain general site and building infrastructure.
• Collaborate with machine operators and production teams to identify faults and implement solutions.
• Ensure maintenance schedules are followed to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar in a manufacturing setting.
• Electrically‑biased, multi‑skilled background.
• Ability to commute to Newmarket, Suffolk.
